A roof in Memphis has a harder job than a roof almost anywhere else in the country. It takes hail and straight-line wind in spring, weeks of 95-degree heat that cooks the asphalt in shingles all summer, heavy fall rain, and enough winter ice to test every gutter and valley. The same shingle that is rated for thirty years in a mild climate is often done at eighteen or twenty here, and the difference between a roof that reaches its rating and one that fails early is mostly installation: the underlayment, the flashing, the ventilation and the fastening pattern that nobody can see once the shingles are on.
That is where we spend our attention. We install to the manufacturer's specification, not to whatever is fastest, because the warranty on a premium shingle is only worth anything if the installation qualifies for it. We use synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield in the valleys and at the eaves, and we replace flashing rather than reusing it. It costs a little more on the day and it is the reason the roof is still there in year twenty.
We work on every common Mid-South roof type: architectural and three-tab asphalt shingle, concrete and clay tile, standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal, and the low-slope membranes on additions and commercial buildings. If you are not sure what you have or what it needs, that is what the free inspection is for.
How a roofing project runs
Inspection and written estimate
We walk the roof, photograph what we find, check the attic for ventilation and moisture, and give you a written scope with a price. If it is a repair rather than a replacement, we say so.
Materials, permits and schedule
Your project manager orders materials, pulls the permit where the jurisdiction requires one, and gives you a start date. If insurance is paying, we align the scope with the adjuster's before anything is ordered.
Installation and walkthrough
Most residential roofs are done in one to two days. We protect the landscaping, run a magnet for nails at the end of every day, and walk the finished roof with you before the final invoice.
Why homeowners choose LASIM for roofing
Insurance claims done right
A large share of Mid-South roof replacements are storm claims. We document the damage the way adjusters need to see it, meet them on site, and have had denied claims reversed. How it works.
Installed to spec, not to speed
Underlayment, ice-and-water shield, new flashing, correct nailing pattern and proper ventilation. It is what makes the manufacturer's warranty real.
One point of contact
A dedicated project manager coordinates materials, crew and schedule, and answers the phone when you call.
Clean site, every day
Tarps over the landscaping, debris trailered off, a magnet sweep for nails before the crew leaves. Your yard should look the way it did before we arrived.
What Mid-South Homeowners Say
Real reviews from our Google listing, quoted word for word. The listing still shows our former name, Q3 Contractors — same owner, same crews, same phone number.
“I can't say enough good things about Q3 Contractors. What started out as a stressful and frustrating situation turned into a smooth, successful project-thanks entirely to their expertise and dedication. Initially, my insurance company denied the claim for my storm-damaged roof, saying it wasn't severe enough to warrant coverage. I felt stuck and unsure of what to do next. That's when Trey of Q3 Contractors stepped in and completely changed the game. They did a thorough inspection, documented all the damage with detailed photos. Their knowledge of roofing and how insurance works was incredible. They knew exactly what to look for and how to present the evidence properly. Because of their efforts, the insurance company reversed their decision and ended up covering the entire roof replacement! The installation itself was just as impressive-professional, timely, and high quality. The crew was respectful, worked quickly, and left everything clean when the job was done. My new roof looks amazing and gives me total peace of mind. If you're dealing with insurance headaches or just want a company that truly goes to bat for you, I highly recommend Q3 Contractors. They went above and beyond for me, and I'm truly grateful.”
